The countdown to this weekends Hogtoberfest has begun and the beers are ready to go.  

The fun starts this Friday at 6pm, where we will have 6 guest German style beers available and 4 Slaughterhouse German style beers all brewed on site, These include the old favourties Hogtoberfest, Kolsh, Alt Bier and new to this year is our Weiss bier. 

On Saturday you can stay for as long as you like with the bar opening at 12pm, food available all day and night. However Saturday night is one of the most popular evenings where you are able to enjoy our very own oomph band playing throughout the evening. So why not get your dancing shoes on and come and join in the fun. 

Sunday unfortunately is the last day of this festival but the drinking doesn't stop there as we are showing the Rugby quarter final on our 101" screen with surround sound. First match Ireland vs Argentina kicks off at 1pm followed by Australia vs Scotland at 4pm.  

Why not come along and join in our german Hogtoberfest. To make it one to remember why not take one of our glasses home with you. Buy a strip of tickets for £12 including a £2 deposit for the glass. If you would like your £2 back then just bring your glass back to the bar, if you would like to keep it your more than welcome.

Hopcraft brewing - Deutsch Projekt 4.5%

German aroma hops (mandarina Bavaria, Huell Melon and hallertauer Blanc)

Connoisseur Ales, Umbelweib 4.2%

Naturally cloudy german style weiss beer with priminent coriander and laraha orange flavours 

Bragdy Heavy Industry, Piegon toed orange peel  5.2%

A cloudy orange hefeweissen style beer brewed with pale and wheat malts. Featuring Mandarina Bavaria, a rare and experimental German hop, Notes of cloves, Pears and pineapple underlay a big freshly squeezed orange taste. Also dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria whilst conditioning  

Dark Star,  Carafa Jade 5.0%

This beer celebrates the beauty of the German Carafa barley malt that gives it a warm brinze colour without making it heavy or sweet.

Firebrick Brewery, Tyne 9,  3.9%

Background pilsner maltiness and a hine of coffee are balanced by restrained resinous hopping and a smooth feel. 

Slaughterhouse Brewery, Hogtoberfest 5.2%

Our hogtoberfest beer is based on the famous Marzen / Oktoberfest of Munich, It is a full bodied, rich, toasty deep golden amber coloured real lager.

Slaughterhouse Brewery, Kolsh 4.5%

Kolsh is a straw coloured speciality beer brewed in Cologne, Our Kolsh has a soft dry palette, light malty aroma and delicate perfumy hop nose derived from German Spalt hops.

Slaughterhouse Brewery, Alt Bier 4.8%

A copper coloured top fermented, cold conditional bier is based on a traditional Dusseldorf Altbier. This is a gently rounded beer with a smooth firm mouth feel and a clean thirst quenching finish.

Slaughterhouse Brewery, Happy Hog Hefeweiss Bier 4.3%

A refreshing hefeweizen naturally cloudy wheat beer, with fruity, yeasty fragrances and taste. Suitable for vegans.
